Cinterion MC55i (successor of Siemens MC35i) is a quad-band GSM/GPRS modem terminal with serial connection (RS-232) and voice, data/fax, SMS capabilities.

 

Cinterion (ex-Siemens) Modem features

 

Siemens GSM/GPRS functions supported:

  • data/fax transmission/reception
  • SMS transmission/reception
  • voice calls
  • GSM quad band (850/900/1800/1900 MHz)
  • GPRS class 10

Suitable for any kind of automation, M2M, remote control, telemetry, environmental monitoring, security, automotive applications.

Accessories

MC55i kit with accessories This modem can be provided either as stand-alone, or equipped with the following accessories:

  • power supply
  • GSM/GPRS stylus antenna
  • serial cable for RS-232 connection to PC

Other accessories are available on demand.

A SIM card (not included) must be inserted into the modem.

 

 This product is RoHS & WEEE compliant.

 

THE EX-SIEMENS MODULES ARE NOW BRANDED "CINTERION"

The Siemens Wireless Modules division has completed its spin-off (started in May 2008) and has become Cinterion Wireless Modules (see attachements).
So, the ex-Siemens modules on global market will now be branded "Cinterion".

Cinterion has maintained the former R&D and production sites in Germany and Poland, together with high quality and reliability of its products and services.
